I received an invitation from a former employer to re-join their Slack channel. Here's what I think about THAT.
A few months after I left a toxic job (think: permeable boundaries, frequent rounds of layoffs, 50-hour work week culture), I got a note from the de-facto human resources director (de-facto job responsibilities of any stripe, of course, being another toxic job red flag!).
